We Believe
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only inerrant and infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe in one eternal God who exists as three separate persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension is now seated at the right hand of the Father having accomplished all that is necessary for man’s salvation and His personal return in power and glory.
We believe it is absolutely essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord with his mouth and believing in his heart resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit is continuing the work He started at Pentecost empowering believers to live a godly life and continue in all the works of Jesus.
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus and that those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment.
We believe all born-again believers have been commissioned to share the complete Gospel to all the world.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
A Catalyst to Transformation
Dr. Jean Jones
Minister. Teacher. Leader. Three words which personify Dr. Jean Jones, who is the founder of Glory Light Ministries. She also serves as an Elder at the historic mega-church Fellowship Chicago and further functions as Director of Fellowship’s Bible Academy. For years Dr. Jean, affectionally known as RED (Reverend Elder Doctor), successfully inspires and equips believers to walk in their God given callings and authority.
Her first ministry is evangelism, which aligns with her heart and belief that everyone should have the opportunity to receive the finished work of Christ and be set free. She has encouraged many to be transformed through her healing ministry, by knowing their potential is in Christ. The Dr. has walked through the same healing processes she offers to others. Dr. Jean fervently believes every Christian can have a life full of joy. People have been healed, refreshed, set-free and empowered through her life.
Dr. Jean has the heart for helping people through equipping, encouraging, training and empowering them to become all that God has intended them to be. She is zealous for helping others to use the tools needed to be successful in all aspects of life. Dr. Jean’s passion in life utilizes prophetic ministry and prayer to empower individuals toward transformation from glory to glory.
